At 12th and 13th of April 2019 the European University of Tirana organised an International scientific conference on the topic: “THE KNOWLEDGE SOCIETY: DIAGNOSTICS AND PROGNOSES” as a part of the Albanian Studies Days 2019. In the conference, a representative of the Institute of International Management of the University of Applied Sciences FH JOANNEUM, presented the paper “Development of successful entrepreneurial education initiatives enabled by EU funded projects – The case of FH JOANNEUM”. The BizMOOC approach in entrepreneurial learning and successfully developing and implementing an entrepreneurial learning initiative was presented. The presentation initiated fruitful discussions among the more than 40 participants, mainly academia representatives coming from different disciplines, from various countries from the Western Balkans, Central Europe and Eastern Europe.
BizMOOC authors have received invitations to the OpenupEd trend report 2019 and are currently preparing their contributions – stay tuned for more information soon. Last year´s report counted many readers and follow-up actions (webinars are planned again), we are happy to be part of this report series again!

On Thursday, 14 February 2019, BizMOOC was presented as good practice in the session “University-Business cooperation for increasing international outreach and cooperation” at the Thematic University Business Forum in Lisbon.
The University-Business Forum was created in 2008 by the European Commission and aims to discuss and reinforce the cooperation between academia and companies at European level. It was inspiring to meet with practicioners from business and researchers from academia to discuss and a truely honour that BizMOOC was invited to such an event.
Last Thursday 31 Jan 2019, BizMOOC was presented by Chris to the new community of Knowledge Alliance grand holders at the EACEA facilities in Brussles. It was great to showcase our experiences and see a new generation of Knowledge Alliances ready to go!
On 14-15 February, a thematic University-Business Forum is hosted by the University of Lisbon in cooperation with the Portuguese Rectors’ Conference (CRUP). Chris of BizMOOC was invited to host a workshop session there on Thu 14 February 16.30-18.00 where BizMOOC will be featured cases. On December 5th, Chris of the BizMOOC team was at OEB Global 2018 (incorporating Learning Technologies Germany) on invitation by PwC, EASME & DG GROW to present BizMOOC key results to the expert group working on “Boosting the Use of Online Training by Small Companies in Europe”. It was an exiting and fruitful discussion with leading European experts and BizMOOC is happy to be able to contribute to this important matter.
